Denver Broncos Information
The Denver Broncos football club, established in 1960, is a part of the
National Football League. In their storied and illustrious history they
have made it to the superbowl a total of 6 times. Unfortunately for fans,
the first 4 resulted in resounding losses during the 70's and 80's. However,
the Broncos decided to redeem their losing ways in the last two with back-to-back
Super Bowl victories in 1997 and 1998. For decades the Broncos played
at the hallowed Mile High Stadium through sun, shine, and especially snow.
When it was time to replace the aging structure there was concern that
the lore would be lost. As a remedy the new structure is built in the
parking lot of the original. Since the beginning of the 2002 football
season, the Broncos have called Invesco Field at Mile High home. This
stadium was finished at a cost of nearly 200 million dollars and is truly
a sight to behold.
